Hello all,
As you may have noticed, we haven't posted for some time. Rest assured we haven't been idle. Hometown has moved to a larger shop, we have continued to cut and sell a zillion fabulous fat quarters to fellow fabric mavens and now we have a shiny new website and blog. This contains all our store news, plus workshop details and special offers. So come on over and visit us!
www.hometownrochester.co.uk
And don't worry that you won't be able to find our new shop, we only moved a few doors down the high street. We'd love to see you.
HOMETOWN, 62 High Street, Rochester ME1 1JY
Also now open some Sundays - check our website for details.

Patriotic Workshops at Hometown and free fabric with bookings
Seeing as it's both St Georges' Day and the Queen's birthday soon, we're coming over all patriotic at Hometown. Look out for Sandra Penford's gorgeous Union Jack quilt in-store later this week. You'll be pleased to know that Sandra is teaching this as a workshop on Saturday 26 May (10.30-4.300) £34.
Or, if you'd like to celebrate on a smaller scale we have a 'Beautiful Bunting' evening workshop on Wed 16 May from 6.30pm. Ideal for sewers of all levels, the cost is £20 and all materials are provided. And finally, on 17 May, Kate Higgens will be teaching a 'Mini Union Jack' quilt workshop from 10.30-4.30, £32.
Plus if you print out a copy of this page and show it (when booking before 21 April), you'll receive a free fat 1/4 of fabric, worth up to £3 when you attend either full-day workshop. You can book a place in-store or by calling 01634 838880. For a full list of our spring and summer workshops, pop in and see us, or email hometownquilts@hotmail.co.uk

Late & Local this Wednesday
Never enough time to shop for fabric? Hometown has the solution! We're open late this Wednesday until 8pm as part of Late & Local in Rochester. So have a wander down the high street and pop in and see us as we always have special offers in-store for L&L Wednesdays. We'd also like to recommend a pit stop at the new Rochester Coffee Co which has opened a few doors from us. They're also open late and their coffee cake and carrot cake are both divine!
